My Sweat. My Equity is the place to get inspired and to inspire others. Tell us about your weight loss highs and lows, fitness triumphs, your community activism, what inpired you to take up running or climb Mount Everest . From feature pieces on people voyaging around the world to reader submitted fitness narratives, My Sweat. My Equity is where we hope you will come to share, learn and get stoked on your journey.
We want you the reader to be a part of our ever-growing online content. We are looking for photos and stories from the everyday committed to the weekend warrior and travel adventures.
Basically we want you to take part in the Sweat Equity community by telling us about your story, be it big or small. So next time you’re out, snap some photos, take some notes and send them our way. Not only will you get published online but you just might inspire someone else to get out and do something.If your story is compelling enough we just may publish it in our next issue.
Guidelines for submissions
All submissions should include both a photo and a narrative; we want a picture that tells just as much of a story as your writing.
Narratives should be no longer than 600 words. Please make sure you have read through your narrative for spelling and grammar errors; pieces that have clearly not been edited will not be considered. By submitting your piece to Sweat Equity you are giving our editorial staff the right to do some minor editing and changes if needed.
Include a short bio and a link to your personal website (if applicable) so we can give you some exposure.

What do I get out of it?
While this is an unpaid contribution, we can promise good exposure and the chance to share your story with our Sweat Equity community. Plus if you inspire one person to make a change for the better in their life... there is no greater reward. Oh yeah! We may even send you some Sweat Equity Swag!
